Shruwd

What to change, where, and whether it worked.

Each finding names the reason AI answers leave you out, the page to change and the change to make. Mark the fix done, and Shruwd checks whether the number moved.

From a number to a verdict, in four steps.

The free plan finds problems with AI crawlers reaching your site and shows you the most important ones in full. Findings about citations and your pages, and rechecks, start on Starter.

A lead is labelled as a lead.

Some findings are facts. Your server logs show a crawler getting turned away, and nothing about that is a guess. Some are reasoned from evidence you can check link by link. Some are leads, from comparing your page with the pages being cited, and they are shown as leads.

The evidence sits on the finding itself: the crawler hits from your logs and what they got back, the pages being cited, the passage a competitor has and you do not. You can check the reasoning instead of taking it on trust, and dismiss the finding, with a reason, if it does not apply to you.

Do the facts first. Treat a lead as something worth testing.

A list of forty gets nothing done.

New findings arrive a few at a time, ranked by how serious they are, how sure Shruwd is, and how many of your questions they touch. The rest wait their turn.

The list also stays out of its own way. If AI crawlers cannot reach a page, that comes first, and advice about the page's content waits until they can. A page the crawlers cannot read does not need better headings yet.

When a problem clears up on its own, the finding closes without claiming your fix did it. When a fixed problem comes back, so does the finding.

Your coding agent can work the list too.

Findings are in the API and the MCP server. An agent can read a finding with its evidence, make the change, and mark the fix applied with a note of what it did.

It cannot mark a finding resolved, and neither can you. Only the recheck decides that, so a fix counts because the number moved, whoever made it.

What kinds of problems do findings catch?

AI crawlers being refused or blocked from your pages, pages that only show their content after JavaScript runs, review sites and lists the answers rely on that leave you out, answers citing the wrong page of yours, a competitor that owns a question you want, and pages that answer less directly or less specifically than the ones being cited.

How is a finding different from a dashboard?

A dashboard shows you where you stand. A finding tells you why, names what to change, and after you change it, a recheck tells you whether it worked. Shruwd has the dashboard too. Findings are what you act on. The dashboard

What happens if my fix does not move the number?

The finding says so. If the problem is still there later on, it reopens with a note that the last fix did not work. That is worth knowing before you spend another week on the same page.

How long until I know whether a fix worked?

A few weeks. The AI engines need time to pick up a change before measuring again tells you anything, and Shruwd waits for that rather than giving you an early answer that means nothing.

What if the AI model changes while I wait?

The verdict says so. A model update can move the numbers on its own, so Shruwd flags the result instead of crediting your fix or blaming it.

Does the free plan include findings?

Yes. The free plan checks whether AI crawlers can reach your site, shows the most important problems in full and tells you how many more it found. Findings about citations and your pages, and rechecks, start on Starter. Compare plans
