Brand setup, questions, competitors, results, crawler logs and findings work the same from the app, from code or from an agent. The numbers come from the same place, so your agent can't end up with a different story from the one on your screen.
Your agent can't grade its own homework.
An agent can mark a fix applied. It can't mark a finding resolved, and neither can you. Only the recheck decides whether a fix worked.
Some things stay with a person on purpose. An agent can't create its own key, change your team, touch your billing or delete your account, and it can't connect Search Console, which needs you to sign in to Google. A key never does more than the person who made it, and you can make one that only reads.

@shruwd/sdk is a typed TypeScript client for the same API, with no dependencies of its own. It retries what's safe to retry and gives you a clear error when something is refused. Every call is also described in a public OpenAPI document, so your own tools can read it.

Does the API cost extra?
No. The API, the SDK and the MCP server come with every plan, the free one included. What you can track is set by your plan, not by how you reach it. Compare plans
Which agents can use it?
Any agent that can run a local MCP server. The setup guide covers Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor.
Is there a hosted MCP server?
No. The MCP server runs on your machine, next to your agent, with the key you give it.
What does my agent need from me?
A key, because it can’t make one. After that, Shruwd tells it to check the questions and competitors it drafted with you before adding them.
Do I need to write code?
No. Your agent can do the setup, or you can do it in the app. The SDK is there if you’d rather write it yourself.
Can my agent change my account?
