Share of voice is measured against the competitors you list, so a rival you forgot is a rival that does not count. Shruwd now picks out the names in your answers that match nothing you track and puts them in front of you.
How it works
- After each measurement, names that came up but are not tracked appear under Add as competitor? on the brand's Competitors page, with how many answers named them and, where the answers linked one, a domain hint.
- Accept a suggestion and it is tracked like any competitor you added yourself. Check the spelling first: matching is exact, so the spelling you accept is the one that counts.
- Dismiss one and it stays quiet for 90 days. If the name is still turning up after that, it is suggested again.
Nothing is added on its own. The same suggestions are in the weekly digest, in the API and SDK under suggestions, and as tools in the MCP server. See accepting a suggested competitor.
