ChatGPT's answers in Shruwd now come from the ChatGPT app, the one your buyers use. They used to be asked through OpenAI's API, which often answered from memory without searching the web, and named different brands than the app does.
What changes
- Your ChatGPT numbers move on the day of the switch. Charts mark it as a model change, so the jump isn't read as something you did.
- A recheck whose baseline comes from before the switch says the model changed, instead of judging your fix across two different ChatGPTs.
- The app cites its sources in most answers, so a page fix can now show up in ChatGPT's numbers, not only in Google's.
- ChatGPT is asked from the US, in English, like Google's engines.
Shruwd still never signs in to ChatGPT: a data provider collects the app's answers. See where the answers come from.
