Use Shruwd in ChatGPT

Install the Shruwd plugin in ChatGPT, sign in, and ask ChatGPT about your brand in AI answers: visibility, findings, crawlers.

Shruwd is a plugin in ChatGPT's plugin directory. It works on the web, desktop and mobile.

Add Shruwd

  1. Open the Shruwd plugin, or go to Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar and search for Shruwd.
  2. Select Install plugin, then Connect when ChatGPT asks.
  3. Sign in to Shruwd, choose the workspace and the access, and click Allow.

On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin decides which plugins are available, under Workspace settings → Plugins.

Ask

Mention @Shruwd in your request, so ChatGPT uses it rather than searching the web:

  • "@Shruwd show my AI visibility for acme.com."
  • "@Shruwd list the findings I should fix first."

ChatGPT asks you to confirm before any tool that changes something.

Disconnect

In Shruwd, go to Account → Connected apps and disconnect ChatGPT. It is signed out at once. To remove the plugin from ChatGPT too, open it under Plugins and select Uninstall plugin.

Without the plugin

Where the plugin is not offered, add Shruwd in developer mode, on the web with a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education account:

  1. Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go to Plugins, select the plus button, and create an app with the MCP server URL https://shruwd.io/mcp and OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in to Shruwd and click Allow. In a conversation, choose Developer mode from the + menu and select Shruwd.
