# Use Shruwd in Grok

Add Shruwd to Grok as a custom connector. Grok can then read your brand's visibility in AI
answers, its findings and its crawler activity, and set up prompts and competitors for you.

## Add the connector

1. Go to [grok.com/connectors](https://grok.com/connectors).
2. Click **New Connector**, then **Custom**.
3. Enter the URL:

   ```
   https://shruwd.io/mcp
   ```

4. Sign in to Shruwd, choose the workspace and the access, and click **Allow**.

**Grok Business and Enterprise:** an admin adds the connector first, at
[console.x.ai](https://console.x.ai) under **Grok Business → Connectors → Add Connector →
Other**.

## Ask

- "What's my AI visibility for acme.com?"
- "Which findings should I fix first?"
- "Which AI crawlers visited my site this week?"

## From the xAI API

Pass Shruwd as a remote MCP tool, with an API key from **Account → API keys** as its
`authorization`:

The key works with or without `Bearer ` in front.

## Disconnect

In Shruwd, go to **Account → API keys**. Under **Connected apps**, remove Grok. It is
signed out at once. A key used from the API is revoked from the same page.
