# Use Shruwd in Claude

Add Shruwd to Claude as a custom connector. Claude can then read your brand's visibility in
AI answers, its findings and its crawler activity, and set up prompts and competitors for
you. It works on the web, in Claude Desktop and on mobile, on every Claude plan. The Free
plan allows one custom connector.

## Add the connector

1. In Claude, go to **Customize → Connectors**.
2. Click **Add custom connector**.
3. Name it `Shruwd` and enter the URL:

   ```
   https://shruwd.io/mcp
   ```

4. Click **Add**, then **Connect**.
5. Sign in to Shruwd, choose the workspace and the access, and click **Allow**.

If Claude asks how to sign in, keep its defaults: **Sign in now**, and **Use Claude's
published identity**.

**Team and Enterprise:** an owner adds the connector under **Organization settings →
Connectors → Add → Custom** (choose **Web** if asked). Each person then connects it under
**Customize → Connectors** and signs in with their own Shruwd account.

## Ask

Turn Shruwd on for a conversation from the **+** button, under **Connectors**. Then ask:

- "What's my AI visibility for acme.com?"
- "Which findings should I fix first?"
- "Add Linear and Jira as competitors."

The tools give Claude each rate with its range, or "not enough data yet" instead of a
number, as the dashboard shows them.

## Disconnect

In Shruwd, go to **Account → API keys**. Under **Connected apps**, remove Claude. It is
signed out at once.
