# Use Shruwd in ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to Shruwd in developer mode. It is on the web, for Plus, Pro, Business,
Enterprise and Education accounts.

## Add Shruwd

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings → Security and login** and turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Go to **ChatGPT Plugins**, select the **plus** button, and create an app:
   - Name: `Shruwd`
   - MCP server URL: `https://shruwd.io/mcp`
   - Authentication: **OAuth**
3. Sign in to Shruwd, choose the workspace and the access, and click **Allow**.

## Ask

In a conversation, choose **Developer mode** from the **+** menu and select Shruwd. Name the
app in your request, so ChatGPT uses it rather than searching the web:

- "Use the Shruwd app to show my AI visibility for acme.com."
- "Use the Shruwd app to list the findings I should fix first."

ChatGPT asks you to confirm before any tool that changes something.

## Disconnect

In Shruwd, go to **Account → API keys**. Under **Connected apps**, remove ChatGPT. It is
signed out at once.
